Jeb Dunnuck Review Rated 95 A youthful red/ruby color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley takes things up a notch in complexity, boasting aromas of cherry liqueur, sweet sage, forest floor, and crushed roses. It was aged for 18 months in a combination of roughly half new French oak and the rest used barrels. Pure and crystalline, it has wonderful ripeness and a graceful feel, with well-defined, ripe tannins, even acidity, and a bit of umami-noted richness on the finish as well as light incense notes. It's going to drink its best over the coming 15 years. Drink 2024-2039.
Wine Tasting Notes Originating from the beloved regions of Ribbon Ridge and Eola-Amity Hills, the Bledsoe McDaniels Willamette Pinot Noir distinguishes itself with a slightly deeper hue compared to the estate's counterpart. This exquisite wine exudes aromas of ripe blueberries, black tea, and subtle notes of forest floor and fennel seed. Its velvety texture, accompanied by soft, chewy tannins and well-balanced acidity, culminates in a lingering and satisfying finish. For optimal enjoyment, decant this exceptional wine for immediate consumption or savor it until 2038.
