This is an obviously well-made dessert wine that seems to push all the right buttons in terms of sweetness and intensity. It delivers thick tones of apricot, marzipan, dried fruit and honey without going overboard on any one note. It offers deep, concentrated flavors over a creamy delivery and a long, sweet finish.

Antinori Castello della Sala Muffato White Blend Umbria IGT 2023 is an exquisite wine, showcasing an intense bright golden yellow hue. On the nose, it offers enticing notes of ripe tropical fruits like pineapples, mangoes, apricots, peaches, and citrus zest, beautifully complemented by hints of honey, caramel, butter, and spicy undertones of saffron and ginger. The palate is pleasantly dense and full-bodied, with a superb balance between sweetness and acidity. The long finish delights with flavors of honey, jam, dried apricots, and candied fruit.
